CICS Access Requests

CICS contains sensitive information. As a result, access is only provided on request to those who have a demonstrated need for access.

To receive access, your supervisor should send a request to the data steward for the data to which you desire access. This request should identify you and your need for the access.

For example, for access to the Student Information System, the request should be sent to the Registrar’s office (registrar@latech.edu) with the reason for the access such as advising or student schedules.

Once the Registrar has authorized access, Information Technology personnel will create the access and communicate access availability to your Louisiana Tech email address.
