Digital signage installations provide a channel for onsite communications targeted at on campus faculty, staff, students, as well as visitors to the University. Digital signage displays also integrate with the campus emergency notification system.

Digital signage generally consists of three major components:

• The Visix content management system.
• The Visix player software installed on a PC or embedded device.
• A commercial-grade flat panel display attached to the player.
