Louisiana Tech University is excited to offer Mediasite to our faculty staff and students. Mediasite is campus supported video management platform, developed by Sonicfoundry that allows you to capture your content, video, and audio into an easy-to-use platform giving the viewers a common interface to see all things video. The solution is used in several classrooms and is also available to use free of charge from any university or personal windows or apple computer. This tool can be used to create and manage videos for courses, training, demonstration, special speaker events, or just about any video project.

Generate recordings using one of three methods: a Hardware Recorder, the Mediasite Mosaic software, or an external media source. The Hardware Recorder is integrated into the podium of select classrooms on the Louisiana Tech University campus. Faculty and staff may submit a request to schedule Hardware Recordings. Installing Mediasite Mosaic allows faculty and staff to record presentations from a personal or university computer’s desktop.
