Help Desk Services

Many issues can be resolved by reviewing articles at the Help Desk web site (http://helpdesk.latech.edu). If the issue cannot be resolved viewing the online documentation provided by the Help Desk web site, please keep the following policy in mind when requesting service from the Computing Center Help Desk.

1. Only Tech-owned computing devices with an appropriate property tag are serviced.

2. Students are assisted with changing passwords, login help, e-mail, and using computing labs.

3. Smart phones are not supported.

4. Submit request for services by:

a. Call 257-5300

b. E-mail requests to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

c. Employees only: http://tickets.latech.edu (Preferred for campus employees)

5. Bring in Tech computers by appointment only. The Help Desk will address software and network issues. Hardware problems are typically referred to Technical Services.
