When playing back a Mediasite presentation, you receive a Windows Media Player error code 1072885327. Versions: 4.0, 4.1, 4.1.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.3, 5.0.4, 5.0.5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 Solution(s): This error code translates to "Cannot open Windows Media file". Some customers have reported this error being caused by having the Bitdefender antivirus software running. Try temporarily disabling security software such as this and see if you are then able to view the presentation. If you are still having trouble, try reinstalling the latest version of Windows Media Player available from Microsoft's site. |
